Our Story
Our journey began in 2020 with the conversion of our first personal van. As we embraced full-time van life, we continually refined and enhanced our design, making constant adjustments to achieve the perfect balance of convenience and functionality. This hands-on experience gave us invaluable insights into maximising space, mastering woodworking techniques, and perfecting 12-volt electrical systems. Each challenge taught us something new, turning us into experts in creating efficient and effective van fit-outs. With our skills and experience, we realised it was time to help others achieve their van life dreams. Starting Max Fitout in a humble shed, we honed our craft and began creating customised, high-quality vans for our clients. We’ve since expanded into a larger facility at Aura Business Park, allowing us to take our work to the next level.
Meet our team
The Max Fitout team has recently grown with the addition of Chris, a highly skilled furniture maker with 25 years of experience. Chris brings expertise in managing the structural components of our builds and ensuring flawless finishes. We are also thrilled to welcome Gabriel, a talented carpenter with years of experience in custom van building for leading companies in France. His unique skills and fresh perspective add significant value to our projects. To complement our in-house expertise, we collaborate with professional electricians and plumbers as needed, ensuring every aspect of your fitout is completed to the highest standard.

We also collaborate closely with Lucie, the owner of Cover Creations, to provide bespoke upholstery services. Whether you need a custom mattress, curtains, or window covers, she is here to add the perfect finishing touch to your dream home on wheels.
